After graduating Tufts University with a degree in Quantitative Economics and Philosophy, Jesse tried to make the world a better place through politics.
He moved out to Akron, Ohio, to work on Hillary Clinton’s campaign. He made great friends, but watched the state vote for Donald Trump by over eight points. He then moved back to the Boston area and joined a local race in Cambridge, where he experienced his second loss. Some say, “third time’s the charm,” but for Jesse, two losses were enough. When he heard about this project, he realized that he could do work that wouldn’t be defined by wins and losses but would actually make a difference for real people right now.
Jesse will start at Yale Law School in the fall.
